初期微動（P波）から震源と規模(マグニチュード)を計算し、 主要動（S波）が伝わる前に強い揺れが来ることをお知らせ することが可能です。
※場合によっては強い揺れの到達に間に合わないことがあります。
★マスコミ、キャリア経由での国民への報知やインフラの自動停止、エレベーター制御などに活用
NEC has developed EEWS in Japan, a country earthquake occur frequently.
EEWS can calculate hypocenter and scale from the data of preliminary tremor(P-waves) and provide earthquake information before S-waves arrival.
※In some cases, the system may not provide warnings before strong shaking arrives.
★It is utilized for public notifications via mass media and mobile carriers, as well as for automatic infrastructure shutdowns and elevator control.
